Starkville-Āé¶¹Porn Symphony Orchestra presents āStrings Across the Seaā

STARKVILLE, Miss.āUnder the direction of Āé¶¹Porn Department of Music Head Barry E. Kopetz, the Starkville-Āé¶¹Porn Symphony Orchestra is presenting a āStrings Across the Seaā childrenās program Friday [Jan. 20] on the Starkville campus.
Free to all, the 7:30 p.m. program at historic Lee Hallās Bettersworth Auditorium is made possible by the Starkville-Āé¶¹Porn Symphony Association. Additional support is provided by Āé¶¹Pornās Office of the President, the Mississippi Arts Commission, 4-County Electric Education Foundation, and CREATE Tupelo, along with individual gifts.
The performance will feature eight visiting Japanese violinists. Song selections include Antonio Vivaldiās (1678-1741) āFour Seasons, Op. 8,ā Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartās (1756-91) āEine Kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525,ā Shinichi Suzukiās (1898-1998) āSelections from Suzuki Vol. 1-7,ā and Mozartās āPiano Concerto No. 20 in d minor, K. 466.ā
Steinway Artist RosĆ¢ngela Yazbec Sebba, the departmentās professor of piano, theory and ear training, will perform the piano concerto.
Earlier on Friday, the symphony orchestra is sponsoring 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. programs at Lee Hallās Bettersworth Auditorium for hundreds of kindergarten through fifth grade students from local schools.
